The Leather Market runs from the corner of Weston and Leathermarket streets towards Long Lane.

From London Bridge Tube & British Rail Stations

The Leather Market is close to London Bridge tube and mainline station, it is about an 7 minute walk.

  • If you are going to London Bridge tube
    Exit the tube and follow the signs to London Bridge British Rail, this will take you to Joiner Street which is a walking street that forms part of the station complex. You will turn right towards the mainline station, do not go up to the station instead walk past this entrance and come out of the “back” of London Bridge station. Turn left onto St Thomas Street past building works for The Shard and then right onto Weston Street.
  • If you are going to London Bridge British Rail
     On the main station concourse follow the signs to the tube, this should take you down some escalators and you will come onto Joiner Street which is a walking street that forms part of the station complex. Do not go towards the tube, instead turn left to come out of the “back” entrance of London Bridge station. Turn left onto St Thomas Street past the building works for The Shard and then right onto Weston Street.
  • Once on Weston Street
    • Walk down Weston Street past The Rose pub and Leather Market Gardens both on the left.
    • As the road bends towards the left there is a turn to the left called Leathermarket Street, walk past this and the London Leather Hide & Wool Exchange building – the rather grand corner building.
    • Continue past a set of black solid gates – these are open in the daytime and allow entry into The Leather Market courtyard.
    • At the south end of the Leather Market building you will arrive at the main entrance with large black iron gates.
    • If the gates are shut you can gain pedestrian entry by using the buzzer and the magic word “TheTango Club” is the password for the security guard who will buzz you in.
    • Walk into the courtyard. Building 8 will be immediately facing you at the south-east corner.
    • Press our bell to gain entry, we are on the top (second) floor.

From Borough Tube Station

It is an easy walk from Borough tube station, is ia about an 8 minute walk.

From the Tube station

  • Cross the road to the large church opposite, walk around towards the back of the church and enter Long Lane.
  • Continue walking down Long Lane past Tesco Express on the right, past The Old Skool Yard pub on the left and a small parade of shops including a fish and chip shop on the right.
  • After this turn left into Weston Street.
  • Walk past the “modern” building on the right and you will arrive at The Leather Market  main entrance, also on the right, it has large black iron gates.
    • If the gates are shut you can gain pedestrian entry by using the buzzer and the magic word “TheTango Club” is the password for the security guard who will buzz you in.
    • Walk into the courtyard. Building 8 will be immediately facing you at the south-east corner.
    • Press our bell to gain entry.

Parking

There are single yellow lines in Leathermarket Street, at the south end of Weston Street and Long Lane as well as on some surrounding roads.

On Tango Tea days the gates will be open and you may park in the courtyard. Please get a Tango Club parking card to place on your dashboard so that security knows that you are visiting the club.

We are negotiating to have the gates open at other times to allow evening parking, please bear with us while we make this happen.
